Biometrics are a resource that lets you obtain new heroes, and rank up existing ones.
How to acquire[]Story Missions[]All Story Missions can reward biometrics 10 times each day. They will all reward one specific hero, with a random chance of dropping in the mission. Story Mission Shifter[]14 different Enemy Shifters are available in Story Missions in Chapter 4 to 8. 13 different Ally Shifters are available in Story Missions in Chapter 1 to 8. 5 different Ally Shifters are available in Story Missions in Chapter 9. 6 or 7 different Ally Shifters are available in Story Missions in Chapter 10. There are some Asgardian Ally Shifters in Chapter 11 and Chapter 12. Special Missions[]Similar to Story Missions, each type of Special Mission rewards a specific hero. Most of the heroes found in these missions can only be found here. Harder versions of the mission give you a higher chance of getting the biometrics in 20 minutes when opening. Special Mission Shifters[]Gwenpool (in New Avengers) and Inferno (in Inhumans) appear in Special Mission as Ally Shifters. Dimension Rifts[]Once per day, you can search for a Dimension Rift and randomly find one of 12 Rifts, each rewarding a specific character. The Rift can be rerolled using gold. You can acquire several biometrics in 30 minutes. Villain Siege[]You can clear 3 stages of Villain Siege each day that will reward 4 random biometrics per stage. Additionally, the 3rd stage will reward 6 biometrics of a specific character - at the moment, that character is Kate Bishop. It was previously Amadeus Cho. Selector Biometrics[]You can obtain Selector Biometrics by obtaining through Check-In Rewards and also from free daily Hero Chest 1-4 when the reward is a duplicate, depending on what duplicate character's type. Biometric Selectors are also rewarded at Floors 5, 10 and 15 of Shadowland for a total of 225 (60 + 75 + 90). Purchasing[]You can also obtain biometrics through Honor Tokens, Chaos Tokens and Dimension chests. Biometric location table[] |

Strategy[]
For characters where the acquisition of bios is very slow[]
Much care should be taken over what the bios are spent on, and this boils down to the availability of alternatives. The alternatives are Rank Up Tickets, Mega Rank Up Tickets, Mega Tier 2 Tickets, Tier 2 Tickets, Uniform Upgrade Tickets and Mega Uniform Upgrade Tickets. Of these, at the time of writing this, the rarest is the Mega Uniform Upgrade Ticket or the combination of Uniform Upgrade Tickets to get uniforms to Mythic. However, there is little point in saving your rare bios when your target is the 930 required to get a uniform to Mythic, as this will take an impractically long time.
Rank up Tickets and the Mega Rank Up Ticket are more common than the Mega Tier 2 Ticket, so, getting the character's gears from 15 to 20 should be the priority for these characters and bios should be saved for this, using tickets to get each character from 1* to 6*.
Examples of relevant characters would include characters where the bios are only available as Shifters or from the Danger Room.
